I was born in North London in 1983. As a child, I displayed natural psychic abilities, easily journeying in the hypnagogic state where I would converse with the spirits in our house.
A family friend describes an instance where I spoke over her shoulder to a being which she could not perceive with her five-senses, but that I was happily chatting away to. I later learned that shamans refer to such entities as ‘spirit helpers’.
By the time I was fully conversant with the spiritual inhabitants of our building, which included a pterodactyl-bird and a woman in the wall, I had been introduced to a distant relative in Cornwall who worked at a spiritualist church.
My aunt was the first person to tell me about the term ‘precognition’ and we became instant friends. She told me I come from a long-line of psychics and that I should use my gifts as a healer.
By my late teens, I was regularly experiencing precognition and new forms of telepathy with a friend who was also able to see into the faery realm. I had, by this point, learned to suppress my abilities, as I knew that being open about such things as voice-hearing was not exactly acceptable in our society. However I was blessed with a protective and loving Guardian Angel who aligned me to strong forces and who has guided me to this day.
I received my first Tarot deck from my Uncle outside the Hare Krishna centre in Soho in 2011. It was at this time that I decided to further my study of occult practices and commit more seriously to the craft. I began my paranormal training at the College of Psychic studies, cultivating these innate skill-sets and improving my mental agility. I embarked on a course in Psychometry and quickly found my way to Tarot. With my foundation in Spiritual Grounding and Numerology, I now read for people professionally
What do you like most about giving readings to clients?
I love guiding my clients to find their own answers by empowering them to listen to their inner voice.
I prefer to work as intuitively, which means knowing as little about the client before a reading as possible. This allows me to purely use the cards to decode what is happening on the astral. The glyphs and symbols provide a mirror to the emotional, mental and spiritual state of the client.
For me, Tarot is not about fortune-telling or mind-reading, but it can provide a snap-shot of the influences surrounding a person at a given moment. Divination systems such as Tarot can offer deep healing, reassurance and clarity.
How would you say you are typical of your star sign?
For those who feel like they’ll know me better if they know my sun, moon, and rising. I’m a sun sign Aquarius, My moon sign is in Aries. Scorpio rising with a Capricorn midheaven. My polar ascendant is Libra occupied by Saturn. In the words of my best friend I’m typical of an Aquarius in the following ways…. ‘Ideas-oriented, unconventional, not linear, free-thinking, open, warm, fluid, adventuring, exciting, kind, non-judgemental.’
When do you remember being first aware of your gift?
I had a lot of telepathic experiences as a child, although I did not have a name for it then. We grew up in a house in North London and I could perceive the entities and spirits that lived there long before my parents ever told me that they had experienced poltergeist activity. This was the first insight into my being clairvoyant and sensitive to energies beyond our five-sense reality. I also loved climbing trees and being out in nature a lot and this definitely led to a life-long connection to the elementals. I still work predominantly with tree-spirits.
What is your most memorable experience with a client?
The happiest and most memorable experiences are always that moment when the client’s face lights up, and you know spirit is working through the cards. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than this work that I do, the sense that we are all connected. I can also recognise when we are getting to the heart of the matter when I get goose-bumps and tingling’s - this shows me that our higher selves are working together to communicate possible outcomes.
What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?
I’ve worked with other psychics and mediums in circle for over a decade. I’ve been on many workshops and facilitated and hosted my own events. I have experience in a range of disciplines, including Kundalini yoga and Ashtanga yoga. My experience in shamanic journeying and dance makes me grounded and direct as a reader.
What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?
I ask that my clients be as clear as they can with their question. The clearer the question: the clearer the answer. However sometimes a client will not easily hear their higher self clearly enough to know what the question truly is. And this is where the cards are able to serve as a mirror to the unconscious mind, allowing us to really get to the heart of the matter. It is better if you avoid questions that give a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer. For example, if the question relates to taking a job or not taking a job; the question would be ‘How can I move forward in my work with what is most in alignment with my soul’s purpose?”
A reading can offer a snap-shot of your energies at a given moment, but doesn’t predict the future per say…
At all times, you have the power of free-will. The best way to direct a question is to ask how to heal yourself so that you can attract experiences that will lead to your soul’s expansion.
