I have been a spiritual seeker for many years, practising within various traditions, including Buddhist and Christian meditation and nonduality. This remains a continually unfolding process. In 2005 I had a powerful spiritual experience on the London Underground. Since that day I have had continual reminders of the presence of my guides in the form of flashes of light, of varying colours and intensities. Over the years I have learnt to trust these signs, and where they are taking me. I feel an increasing connection to the Pleiades, Archangel Michael and Atlantis. I enjoy sharing my gifts inasmuch as I can help others from my experience.
What do you like most about giving readings to clients?
I love being able to help people and empower them to be the best versions of themselves. A picture speaks a thousand words, and it's nice to be able to contradict some self-doubt the client may be having by describing the images to hand, which usually deliver their message loud and clear! Often the issue is conditioning received from society/the family which says they can't or shouldn't pursue what they really love, and it can be very reassuring for them to have a reading that confirms that their heart's desire is worthy of pursuit and not just a passing notion.
How would you say you are typical of your star sign?
As a Pisces I sometimes find the invisible realms more real than the visible! But this also gives me great sensitivity towards other people's energy, and I consider myself an empath. I work on an intuitive level, and tend to "feel" what the right thing to say is before my mind can understand it.
When do you remember being first aware of your gift?
I have always known I am highly sensitive, but it was only when I started to get readings myself that I decided to try my hand at Tarot. Right from the start I was amazed at how the right message would always come at the right time, according to my knowledge of the cards and where the querent was in their spiritual journey.
What is your most memorable experience with a client?
I once gave a reading about love, where the message was that they would find love at work. This made absolutely no sense to the client at the time, but sure enough after a couple of months and a change of employer she met her match in a colleague!
What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?
I have two degrees, one in Classics (Latin & Greek Literature) and one in Fine Art, and I also enjoy studying Italian and other languages in my spare time. These have all given me a grounding in ancient myth and visual culture, which I enjoy bringing to my readings. My Art college background gives me a sharp eye, and a love of creating a story from the combination of images in the cards. I am fascinated by etymology and wordplay, and song lyrics often find their way into my readings! As well as my academic training I have also been studying astrology and reiki for some years, both of which give me great satisfaction. I also practise meditation, which helps me stay grounded and focussed.
What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?
My aim when I give readings is to "zoom out" of the situation and give you a sense of what is going on in the background, among the Gods as it were. I stress that I am not fatalistic in my approach: whatever the situation, you can always operate with free will. Nor am I offering a magic wand that will take away the need for any spiritual work on your part. But I always endeavour to empower you, and make sure you leave the session more confident and optimistic about life than before.
Such a great new reader! JB has a lot of empathy and very deep knowledge about his craft. I really enjoyed the reading and discussion, and the astrological information, as I'm another reader myself. Very good intuition and validations about my aims in life and present circumstances. I feel I know the best way to go now. WONDERFUL! M/L x
