I was born in Uganda, East Africa from mixed parentage. My mother was English and my father was Indian. At the tender age of 9, I was sent to a convent boarding school in the north of England. It was a sinister place, an apt setting for a Bunuel movie! At the age of 16 much to my joy the school closed down and I continued my education at a school in Cambridge. This school felt like total liberation. Truanting became my pastime! On finishing my schooling I gained entrance to the London School of Economics from where I graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics specialising in Sociology. Shortly after completing my degree I met a Musician who became my partner and we had two children. He passed at the early age of 53. In the course of my career I have worked as a Home Tutor and as a hospital Receptionist and Administrator. I have developed my Clairvoyance alongside all the various trials and tribulations of my life. At the same time I have extended my interest to esoteric subjects such as: the Chakra system, Crystal healing, Sound healing, Colour therapy, Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Numerology, Places of sacred energy and the Laws of attraction. I take classes in Ballet, Yoga and Martial Arts. After over 30 years of reading and studying the Tarot I consider myself to be an expert in the subject and at "The top of my game". I love life and my deepest pleasure is to be beside the sea in any kind of weather.
What do you like most about giving readings to clients?
I like most of all to feel that I am giving people some kind of trust in life. I like to explain the meaning of the cards and how they relate to the client's questions, this gives the client some background information and makes the reading more interesting. I like to treat the readings as jobs well done and I gain satisfaction from feeling that as well as being helpful I have been efficient. I know that some people feel despair when they ask for a reading; I like it when they leave feeling like they have unburdened themselves and are ready to face life anew.
How would you say you are typical of your star sign?
I feel that I am very typical of my star sign. As a Virgo I am ruled by Mercury and display the corresponding characteristics in that I am analytical, intelligent and a good communicator. I am trustworthy to a fault and very conscientious. As a true Virgo I am attractive and young for my age. I also have a tendency towards the negative trait of Virgo - I can be extremely critical of myself and others! Virgos are known for their sense of order and I always strive for order. As an earth sign I feel strongly connected to the earth and plant life. Overall I am a strong Virgo and have three other planets also in the sign of Virgo.
When do you remember being first aware of your gift?
I remember when I was around 10 years old. It struck me that the body was material. This led me to questioning who I was. I couldn't figure out who humans were if their bodies were subject to decay. In hindsight this was a glimpse into something beyond. Many years later a friend showed me some Tarot cards she had ordered. I was immediately drawn to them, read the booklet and started experimenting with the spreads. Each time I visited her I asked her if she would get her cards out. Finally she gave them to me, (I think perhaps the visits were becoming too frequent!). I started doing readings for friends just really for fun and to my surprise found that I was always right. This gave me the confidence to do professional readings. I have used these same cards ever since.
What is your most memorable experience with a client?
All my readings are equally memorable to me.
What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?
I have experiences of what I can describe as "third eye openings". When I have these very beautiful experiences, inspiration overawes me to such an extent that I have to put pen to paper and write them down. I then shape the writings into poetry. I have had an illustrated book made up of my poetry and I am engaged in a project at present of recording the poems for use in a relaxation room in the hospital where I work. People have found that my poems are "other worldly" and they bring pleasure and serenity on reading. I have times when I enter other dimensions of strange and bizarre lands. I have also met a being from another dimension. I sense energy from people and places very, very strongly. I can read psychic impressions from palms. I can receive impressions, in fact, from any object as everything carries energy and vibration.
What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?
For me the most important thing for a person to consider is what do they really want to know. I can then focus my energy more specifically on the task in hand.
What a delightful reader. A breath of fresh air. Doesn't waste time.
